Every room is different, so here is what stays the same: about 10 ft by 10 ft for the booth, a backdrop 8 ft wide and 7.5 ft high, and the first 30 miles of travel included with every booking.
Where the booth goes
Give us a 10 ft by 10 ft corner in sight of the dancing and out of the walkway. An attendant stays with the booth, so nobody at your reception has to work out how it runs.
A big room swallows a small setup, so the backdrop goes where guests already walk, near the entrance or the bar. At 8 ft wide and 7.5 ft high it reads from across the floor.
A cleared 10 ft by 10 ft in a lobby or a break room is enough. Overlays, templates and backdrops are built around your company, so the photos leave with your branding on them.
Fellowship halls make it easy. One 10 ft by 10 ft corner, a backdrop picked for the night, and photos texted or sent by QR code before families head home.
Outside works with cover overhead, at least two covered sides, and no direct sun. The booth stays fully protected from rain, cannot run below 45 or above 85 degrees, and backdrops come down in winds over 10 MPH.
Weddings are where Candid Creative started, with a first wedding and a bridal show in 2023. The open-air booth sets up at the edge of the reception with an attendant beside it, and there is no limit on the photos, boomerangs and GIFs your guests take.
Wedding weekends often book 6 to 12 months ahead, so the day you have a date is the day to ask.

The same booth works a company Christmas party, a charity ball or a fundraiser night. Overlays, templates and backdrops are built around the event, so the photos carry the company or the cause rather than a stock frame.
Guests get their photos by text or QR code on the night, and the full set is emailed to you afterwards.

Please plan for a 10 ft × 10 ft area for our photo booth setup. This allows enough space for the booth, backdrop, and guests to move around comfortably and safely. Our backdrops measure 8 ft wide × 7.5 ft high.
During the event, guests will receive their images instantly through text or QR code. After the event, our team will email you all the captures via zip file.
For outdoor events, the booth must be fully protected from rain and other precipitation, must have overhead cover and at least two covered sides, cannot be placed in direct sunlight, and cannot operate if temperatures are below 45°F or above 85°F. Backdrops cannot be used in winds over 10 MPH.
The short answer? As soon as you have your date! Not to be dramatic but there’s only one of us... and a whole lot of you! Popular dates, especially wedding weekends and holiday parties, often book 6 to 12 months in advance. The earlier you reserve, the better your chances of securing your date.
